Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
2-4 years of relevant laboratory experience, ideally within an industry setting.
Hands-on experience with NGS library preparation protocols such as DNA-seq or RNA-seq.
Proficient in PCR, nucleic acid extraction, and standard molecular biology techniques.
Strong critical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with advanced DNA QC instruments like Tapestation and Nanodrop.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

Execute NGS library preparation from diverse sample types using various construction methods.
Perform DNA and RNA extraction from biological samples, optimizing protocols for high yield and purity.
Quantify nucleic acids accurately using instruments like Qubit and NanoDrop.
Operate and troubleshoot sequencing platforms for routine laboratory runs.
Conduct quality control for nucleic acids and libraries utilizing Agilent TapeStation.
Maintain precise experimental records in laboratory notebooks and digital formats.
Analyze experimental data to contribute to technical reports and team presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members on experimental design and troubleshooting.
