The Bel lab at the department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, at the School of Medicine and Public Health, is searching for a full-time scientist to serve as lab manager and be an active, independent and contributing member of the research team. The Bel lab studies the role of environmental and genetic factors in development of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Specifically, the Bel lab focuses on the role of the microbiota and mutation in autophagy genes in regulation of immune responses in the gut. This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
