Join a culture that values you for your attitude, not just your experience. We are currently seeking a Scientist I (Lab Analyst I) for our ligand binding assay group (LBA). As a Scientist I (Lab Analyst I) you will support the validation and use of analytical methods through sample processing and analyzation, calibration, data reporting, and quality control testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in clinical research or a related industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to follow protocols and maintain accurate records.
  • Basic proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment operation, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to supporting team objectives and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Performing routine laboratory tests in support of LBA method validation studies on behalf of pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners.
  • Learning and utilizing various sample preparation techniques for performing ligand-binding assays like ELISA, PK, ADA, and biomarker assays
  • Learning operation, analysis, and maintenance of LBA instrumentation and systems.
  • Assisting in data analysis and troubleshooting experiments with your team.
  • Keeping the lab organized, instruments calibrated, and quality standards top of mind.
  • Recording and documenting test results accurately, ensuring data integrity and compliance with quality standards like GLP.
