Requirements
- Doctorate degree
- Master’s degree and 2 years scientific experience
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years scientific experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with siRNA / RNA therapeutics (delivery or functional assays), Erythroid biology and hematopoiesis.
- Strong background in Flow cytometry (multi-color), Cell-based functional assays
- Familiarity with gene expression (qPCR, RNA assays), target engagement assays
- Experience working in cross-functional drug discovery teams
- Knowledge on Hemoglobinopathies, conjugated delivery systems, CRISPR or gene editing is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and execute in vitro and ex vivo assays to evaluate siRNA delivery and function
- Develop human primary cell-based systems
- Support target validation and mechanism-of-action studies for siRNA therapeutics
- Collaborate with Delivery/chemistry teams, Translational and biomarker teams
- Establish and optimize Flow cytometry panels, qPCR / RNA-based readouts
- Contribute to IND-enabling studies and data packages
