About The Position

Genentech, Inc. seeks a Scientist 3 at its South San Francisco, California location. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology, Biophysics or a closely related field.
• 2 years of industry experience in the job offered or a closely related position.
• 2 years of experience with Cell-line engineering: lentiviral & CRISPR-based approaches including cloning strategies.
• 2 years of experience with Molecular biology techniques: construct design & engineering.
• 2 years of experience with Functional genomics: CRISPR & ORF overexpression.
• 2 years of experience with Cell proliferation assays: conventional & advanced model systems including organoids.
• 2 years of experience with Cell biological assays: immunofluorescence & high content imaging.
• 2 years of experience with Biochemical techniques: western blotting, co-immunoprecipitation, and biochemical reconstitution.
