Requirements
- BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection
- Experience with local NJDEP, NYDEC, and/or PADEP regulations.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to successfully multi-task
- Safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency with field procedures.
- Generate data of known quality and appropriate field notes.
- Ability to be successfully trained on a wide variety of project types.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation (driving personal vehicle) is required.
Nice To Haves
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
- Experience with data management and report preparation.
Responsibilities
- Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- Draft technical reports.
- Ensure safe performance of project work.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
- Implement and complete tasks in a timely manner and within budget communicated by manager.
