Apex Companies is seeking a Scientist 1 - Staff Scientist to support environmental projects through field sampling, data collection and analysis, interpretation, and preparation of template reports. The role offers opportunities to work across a variety of projects, cross-train, and contribute to projects that shape communities and protect the environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field.
• Experience with environmental field sampling and data collection.
• HAZWOPER certification, as needed.
• Field data collection skills.
• Technical writing skills.
• Microsoft 365 skills.
• Valid driver's license, good driving history, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Input data into template reports.
