About The Position

This role oversees the day-to-day operations of computing platforms, ensuring system health and performance. The lead will be responsible for responding to incidents, conducting troubleshooting, and performing root cause analysis. Key duties include managing capacity planning, system tuning, and scaling to meet workload demands. The position also involves executing preventive maintenance, patching, and configuration management, as well as providing user support and maintaining operational documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
SEVEN 7 years supporting complex computing environments
Strong system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills
Experience with automation and operational tools
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting high-performance or data-intensive environments
Familiarity with service management or reliability practices.
Prior NIH experience
