About The Position
Lumanity is seeking an advanced-degree life sciences professional to join its Medical Strategy and Communications division as a Scientific Director or Senior Scientific Director. The division uses scientific knowledge to interpret data and develop compelling narratives that guide clients’ medical communications strategies in the context of the therapeutic landscape and regulatory challenges. The role is a leader in the Scientific Services department, overseeing high-quality deliverables aligned with strategic objectives for Medical Affairs and Publications accounts. The Scientific Director serves as a strategic partner to clients, leads a team of medical writers, and ensures projects are delivered efficiently and on time. Oncology experience is highly desired.
Requirements
- PhD, PharmD, or MD.
- At least 5 years of experience in a medical communications agency setting.
Nice To Haves
- Oncology experience is highly desired.
- CMPP certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of high-quality deliverables aligned with strategic objectives for Medical Affairs and Publications accounts.
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients.
- Lead a team of medical writers.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects.
