About The Position
Lumanity is seeking an advanced-degree life sciences professional to join its Medical Communications team as an Associate Scientific Director within the broader Medical Strategy and Communications practice. The practice works to strengthen the bridge between clinical and commercial, drawing on scientific knowledge, regulatory expertise, and industry experience. The Associate Scientific Director oversees the development of technically accurate, high-quality deliverables for Publications and Medical Affairs accounts. The role serves as a strategic partner to clients and ensures that projects and deliverables are completed on time and within budget. It also directs project editorial work, leads a team of medical writers, and ensures the accuracy, quality, and content of written materials.
Requirements
- PhD, PharmD, or MD required.
- Minimum of 4–5+ years of medical writing experience in an agency or pharmaceutical company setting.
Nice To Haves
- CMPP certification preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of technically accurate, high-quality deliverables for Publications and Medical Affairs accounts.
