Sarepta Therapeutics – Scientific Communications Postdoctoral Research Fellow
About The Position
The Pharmacy Postdoctoral Fellow will join the Sarepta Global Scientific Communications (Sci Comms) team for a two-year commitment. The objective of the Global Sci Comms team is to develop and execute a holistic strategic communication plan that supports Sarepta’s platforms and programs by building timely, balanced, evidence-based scientific narratives that provide clear and consistent content for a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders. This fellowship is designed to provide the Fellow with in-depth experience within Scientific Communications through collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and engagement with external experts on key company initiatives. The Fellow will be immersed in publication and medical communication activities related to clinical research, health economics and outcomes research, and real-world evidence. The Fellow will support strategic dissemination of data across a wide range of channels and lead diverse projects throughout the two-year program based on business needs and professional interests.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)-accredited institution
- Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at both the industry site and Northeastern University
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of scientific publications, including abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts, in adherence to good publication practices
- Review draft publications for scientific quality and data accuracy
- Develop medical field decks, booth collateral, digital assets, and symposium content aligned with platform strategic imperatives
- Obtain cross-functional alignment among relevant internal stakeholders and coordinate review, approval, and related activities associated with the development of scientific communications and publications
- Collaborate with medical communication agencies to support the timely execution of publication, congress, and medical communication plans
