About The Position

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking an exceptional full-time, contract (12 months) Scientific Associate to support the launch and development of CAMH’s inaugural Women’s Mental Health Discovery Hub. This role will report to the Treliving Family Chair in Women’s Mental Health to strengthen institute-wide research capacity and ensure rigorous application of the scientific method across study design, analysis, interpretation, and knowledge translation. The position is ideal for an interdisciplinary doctorate-level subject matter expert in women’s mental health and addictions & sex and gender-informed research who is committed to methodological rigor, collaborative science, and advancing women’s mental health research across the lifespan. The Scientific Associate will support the development and implementation of the Women’s Mental Health Discovery Hub. Working with investigators, trainees, and institutional partners, the successful candidate will help build collaborative research capacity, strengthen grant competitiveness, and support the integration of women’s health, sex- and gender-informed approaches across CAMH research programs. Through its core values of Courage, Respect and Excellence, CAMH is implementing its Strategic Plan: Connected CAMH, to transform lives, ignite innovation and discovery, revolutionize education and drive social change. CAMH is more than a hospital, it is a cause. CAMH is on a mission to change the way society thinks about and responds to mental illness.
