About The Position

RVP continues to provide opportunities for teachers from all over the world to teach in the United States for up to 5 years under a cultural exchange program. We are now building the pipeline for next school year. We are actively looking for Middle School and High School Science Teachers to teach in the U.S. for the next school year. Requirements

Possesses the equivalent of a four-year bachelor’s degree in education with a concentration in science.
Minimum five years of full-time related teaching experience at primary or secondary schools outside of the U.S. (student teaching, internships, etc. do not count).
Must have experience in teaching Science subjects including Integrated Sciences, Chemistry, Physics and General Sciences.
Must have experience in teaching Middle School Science (Grade 6 to Grade 8) or High School Science (Grade 9 to Grade 12).
Must be currently teaching at primary/secondary level in your home country.
Meet the qualifications for teaching in primary or secondary schools in your home country.
Must be currently teaching in the grade(s) you are applying for and have at least 3 years of experience in your specialized field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to supervise students of various ages in different school settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.).
Good to Excellent English proficiency.
Ability to pass an international criminal background check.
Seek to come to the United States for the purpose of teaching full-time temporarily, and share your culture, and will return home to apply your learning.
