About The Position

St. Francis DeSales High School is seeking a highly energetic and faith-filled educator to serve as an Instructor in the area of Science starting in the 2026/2027 school year. The school, part of the Catholic Diocese of Columbus with nearly 900 students across grades nine through twelve, aims to provide a holistic educational experience in the Catholic tradition, preparing students' minds, bodies, and spirits to love God, seek truth, and live virtuously. Desired candidates will work closely with students and faculty to support the school's Catholic mission of educating the entire person, promoting high standards and values for student performance, and addressing individual student needs.

Requirements

Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach.
Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks.
Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Appropriate state certification/license as required by the grade levels and subjects taught.
Religious Education certification as required by the diocese.
