About The Position

The Lebanon School District is seeking a dedicated and innovative Science Teacher to join our educational team. The Science Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering an engaging science instructional program while creating a positive classroom environment that encourages students to learn, grow, and develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary for success in post-secondary education and career opportunities. The successful candidate will collaborate with students, families, colleagues, and administrators to support each student's academic and personal growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
Current Pennsylvania Department of Education certification (preferred)
A collaborative spirit and commitment to equity
Strong communication skills—clear, caring, and consistent

Responsibilities

Planning and delivering an engaging science instructional program.

Using data, creativity, and differentiated instruction to meet students where they are and help every learner grow.
Creating a positive classroom environment.
Collaborating with colleagues, families, and administrators.
Fostering a supportive, inclusive school community where all students can thrive.
