About The Position

The Science Learning Architect leads the creation of high-quality, standards-aligned educational STEM content for K-12, Higher Ed, and International markets that showcases the best-in-class Vernier sensors. The Science Learning Architect works with the product, sales, marketing, and science team to refine a content roadmap that delivers meaningful classroom outcomes. To stay in tune with the needs of the classroom, this person will be a regular presence at education conferences, events, and prospects, meeting with teachers and district administrators to understand their needs to ensure Vernier’s content roadmap meets their needs. With the market perspective in hand, this person will drive the content creation by uplifting all phases of the content process, from ideation to production. This person may author their own content, but will be more focused on being a force multiplier - training, mentoring, and coaching other content authors.

Requirements

Recognized industry expert, i.e., published author, keynote speaker
15+ years of experience in education
10+ years of curriculum development at a national level
5+ years in edtech
Master's degree minimum, PhD preferred
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and science education.

Responsibilities

Train, mentor, and coach content authors to create high-quality, standards-aligned content.
Author high-quality, standards-aligned content when needed.
Work with product management to own and refine a content roadmap that can be communicated to customers.
Champion Vernier’s high-quality, standards-aligned content and content roadmap with prospects and customers at conferences, events, virtual meetings, and onsite meetings.
