About The Position

Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee is hiring science tutors, academic coaches, and specialized-support tutors for in-home and online tutoring across the East Valley — including physics, chemistry, biology, executive function coaching, special education support, and daytime homeschool tutoring. This role offers a meaningful way to impact students' lives without the burden of managing the business aspects of tutoring. Our core mission is to equip today's youth for future success.

Requirements

• Current college enrollment or a completed college degree.
• Background as a teacher, education professional, or subject-matter expert.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring assignments.
• A genuine passion for education and student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and online tutoring across the East Valley.
• Tutor in science subjects including physics, chemistry, and biology.
• Offer academic coaching focusing on organization, study skills, and time management.
• Provide special education and neurodivergent student support with patient, individualized instruction.
• Conduct daytime homeschool tutoring.
• Build meaningful, long-term 1:1 relationships with students.
• Adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Focus on helping students learn, grow, and build confidence.
