About The Position

NRT Bus, Inc. is hiring a Part Time School Van Driver for Marlborough Public Schools. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community by safely transporting students to and from school and events. The position is part-time with a split shift (AM/PM) on weekdays only, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Drivers are guaranteed minimum hours and have the option to bring the van home. Opportunities for extra hours through charters and activity trips are available. The company emphasizes a supportive, safety-first work environment.

Requirements

School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
Safe driving record
Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

Safely transport students to and from school and events
May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
Drive assigned routes
Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
