About The Position

SCR Medical Transportation LLC is seeking Part-Time Special Education School Van Drivers. This role involves safely transporting students to and from school and activities, ensuring they arrive on schedule. The position offers a flexible weekday schedule with summers off, paid training, and no prior experience is necessary. Requirements

• Three (3) years of driving experience with no breaks/gaps and no more than 1 moving violation in that time period.
• Candidates cannot have any DUI/DWI on their driving record.
• Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical.
• A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain a School Bus Eligibility Receipt from the DMV. (Required at the time of interview)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Conduct child checks after each route
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
• Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
