About The Position

ChoiceCare Transportation is currently hiring School Van Drivers for full and part-time positions in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves assisting students by driving a fleet of transit vans and minivans, providing transportation services in Cincinnati and surrounding areas. Drivers will receive paid training, including CPR and First Aid Certification. The safety of employees and customers is a top priority, with necessary protective equipment provided. This is a part-time, split shift position, working 6 hours per day.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Possess a continuously valid US driver’s license for at least 2 years.
Possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
Must possess a valid Ohio Class D license or the ability to obtain Ohio, Issued Driving License.
No DWI/DUI.
Clean Driving Record.
Must be able to pass T-8 physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
Must pass criminal background check investigation.
Living in Cincinnati Area.
Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and reliable transportation to high school-aged children.
Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
Provide excellent customer service.
Supervise safe passenger loading and unloading from the vehicle.
Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop-off of the riders.
Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to the needs of our customers and riders.
Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required.
Maintain clean assigned vehicle(s), both interior and exterior, for the purpose of ensuring safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle.
Complete paperwork as required.
Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required.
