About The Position

As a School Therapist, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting students’ emotional well-being and success at Seneca’s partner school, Impact Black River Elementary in the Renton/Tukwila area. Embedded within the school community, you’ll provide healing-centered individual and family therapy, conduct mental health assessments, and offer case management for a focused caseload of 15–20 students—allowing you to build deep, impactful relationships without additional school-wide or tiered responsibilities. You’ll collaborate closely with caregivers, teachers, and school staff to ensure each student is supported holistically and celebrated for their growth. Starting in June, you’ll have the opportunity for a thoughtful transition with the current clinician, support students over the summer, and enter the new school year ready to continue making a difference from day one. Seneca's Unconditional Education Programs embody an integrated, responsive special educational model that promotes equitable opportunities for all students. Our team of passionate staff is always willing to work collaboratively and innovative to do whatever it takes to ensure that the needs of all students are met and to establish best practices for serving youth with disabilities. Our school-based Unconditional Education Services are highly tailored to meet each student's unique needs - their parents and other family members are enlisted as partners in designing and implementing their education and treatment plans.
