About The Position
Make a real impact on students’ lives by supporting their behavioral and academic success. As a School Support Specialist, you’ll work directly with students, families, and school staff to address behavioral challenges, improve attendance, and connect families to essential resources. This is a full-time, year-round position with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Boys Town has been changing the way America cares for children and families since 1917, growing into one of the largest national child and family care organizations. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum age of 18 required

- Experience with special needs or behavioral support in school settings
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative intervention for students with behavioral or attendance issues
- De-escalate inappropriate behaviors using approved intervention techniques
- Partner with school staff, students, and families to support student success
- Refer families to community and Boys Town resources as needed
- Track student progress and maintain case files and data
- Serves as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.
