The National Education Opportunity Network (NEON) is a rapidly scaling education justice non-profit focused on economic mobility by democratizing access to higher education. NEON delivers college credit-bearing courses from top universities into high school classrooms in low-income, Title 1 schools at no cost to students. Since 2019, NEON has reached nearly 60,000 scholars and aims to serve 1 million scholars within the next decade. The organization is composed of former education and civil rights leaders, teachers, and consultants, with a notable board including former U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and founder of the Children's Defense Fund, Marian Wright Edelman. The School Success Manager will be instrumental in helping NEON's high school partners adopt and implement the college-in-high school model to enhance student learning. This role involves communication with high school teams, ensuring model implementation, and managing course logistics. The ideal candidate will apply skills in new partner development and customer success management within an educational setting, comfortable engaging with district executive leadership, curriculum leaders, and teachers. Essential attributes include technical problem-solving, relationship management, emotional intelligence, empathy, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities will evolve with organizational needs but will focus on building and managing relationships with partner high schools, supporting the implementation of college credit-bearing courses, expanding NEON's offerings within existing schools, collaborating on data analysis and impact reporting, coordinating site visits, and contributing to the improvement of the school partnership experience and student outcomes.
