About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Social Worker to support students within a dynamic school district in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Requirements
- Licensed Social Worker with a valid School Social Work Certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience within the last 5 years
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess students with emotional, mental health, or social service needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective support plans
- Coordinate care services, provide referrals, and maintain communication among stakeholders
- Serve as an advocate for students while fostering a safe and inclusive school environment
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school policies and ethical standards
