About The Position

AXIS Teletherapy School Social Workers support students facing emotional and social challenges that may affect their ability to learn and thrive. Through virtual services, they work with students, families, and school teams to develop strategies that foster stability, resilience, and growth. The role contributes to safe, inclusive learning environments where every student feels seen, supported, and understood. This position is for Michigan and offers part-time options with 15 hours of daytime availability per week. It is a 1099 contract position and is 100% remote.

Requirements

Master’s degree or higher in Psychology from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), or recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).
Current Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) issued by LARA or DOE Certification.
MDE SSW Certification Letter.
At least 2 years of experience in a school setting.
Hold or be eligible to obtain all required Michigan clearances, including Central Registry Clearance and Criminal Background Check.
Demonstrate professional integrity and accountability, collaboration and communication, adaptability and problem solving, cultural competence, and time management.
