About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate School Social Worker to support students in an Illinois school district throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time position is well suited for a social work professional who values student advocacy and enjoys helping young people overcome barriers that can affect learning, behavior, attendance, relationships, and overall school success. You’ll provide individualized and group-based social-emotional support while helping students develop strategies to manage personal, behavioral, and academic challenges. The role also includes identifying student needs, developing appropriate interventions, monitoring progress, and connecting students and families with relevant school or community resources. You’ll work as part of a collaborative educational team, partnering with teachers, families, administrators, and related service professionals. You’ll also participate in IEP meetings, contribute social work expertise to student planning, and maintain thorough documentation of services and progress.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate School Social Worker endorsement.
- Knowledge of social-emotional development, behavioral supports, and student services.
Nice To Haves
- LSW or LCSW credentials may be preferred based on district requirements.
- School-based experience with children or adolescents is preferred.
