About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate School Social Worker to support students in an Illinois school district throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time position is well suited for a social work professional who values student advocacy and enjoys helping young people overcome barriers that can affect learning, behavior, attendance, relationships, and overall school success.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate School Social Worker endorsement.
Nice To Haves
- LSW or LCSW credentials may be preferred based on district requirements.
- School-based experience with children or adolescents is preferred.
- Knowledge of social-emotional development, behavioral supports, and student services.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and group-based social-emotional support.
- Help students develop strategies to manage personal, behavioral, and academic challenges.
- Identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Monitor student progress.
- Connect students and families with relevant school or community resources.
- Work as part of a collaborative educational team, partnering with teachers, families, administrators, and related service professionals.
- Participate in IEP meetings.
- Contribute social work expertise to student planning.
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress.
