About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is recruiting a dedicated School Social Worker to join a Michigan school district for the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports students with social, emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns that may affect learning, attendance, behavior, and relationships. The Social Worker provides individualized support and group-based interventions, identifies barriers to student success, develops strategies to address student needs, tracks progress, and connects students and families with educational and community resources. The role works collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and related-service professionals to coordinate student support and promote a positive school experience. Additional duties include contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing social work insight during educational planning, and maintaining accurate records of services and student progress.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Michigan Department of Education (MDE) School Social Worker approval, or verified eligibility to secure state certification prior to employment.
• Strong crisis-management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• A deeply collaborative professional approach.

Responsibilities
