About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is recruiting a dedicated School Social Worker to join a Michigan school district for the 2026–2027 school year. The role focuses on student advocacy, emotional wellness, and addressing challenges that may interfere with learning, attendance, behavior, and healthy relationships.

The School Social Worker helps students navigate social, emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns through individualized support and group-based interventions. The role identifies barriers to student success, develops strategies to address student needs, tracks progress, and connects students and families with appropriate educational and community resources.

The position works collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and related-service professionals to coordinate student support and promote a positive school experience. Responsibilities also include contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing social work insight during educational planning, and maintaining accurate records of services and student progress.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Michigan Department of Education (MDE) School Social Worker approval, or verified eligibility to secure state certification prior to employment.
• Strong crisis-management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• A deeply collaborative professional approach.

Responsibilities
