About The Position

The Mary Dobbins Social Worker works closely with other members of the school/clinical and residential staff to develop and provide quality treatment and education experiences for students and their families/guardians. The position requires flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external educators, clinicians, families/guardians, and other personnel. As a member of the education team, the School Social Worker will establish and maintain a positive, strength-based, developmentally appropriate educational milieu that aligns with the values and clinical treatment philosophy of The Legacy Treatment Services. This role is responsible for meeting all administrative, legal, and program requirements mandated by operating contracts, including those from DCP&P, DOE, and COA. The School Social Worker will manage a caseload of up to twelve (12) day treatment clients, overseeing and coordinating all aspects of each client’s treatment program, and providing individual, family, and group therapy in accordance with the treatment plan and in collaboration with the treatment team. The hours are full-time and follow the school calendar.

Requirements

Master’s degree in social work.
Possess School Social Worker Certification.
Flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
