About The Position
HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time, in-person leave coverage opportunity in Oak Park, Michigan. This position is located in a K–5 elementary school and is expected to begin September 28, 2026, continuing through October 30, 2026. Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work in the state of placement
- Must be licensed as a mental health provider in the corresponding state (or eligible for licensure and have already applied)
- LCSW/MSW required where applicable.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Current CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Individuals with experience as part of a multi-disciplinary practice team are preferred
- Interest in growing in hours and responsibilities as caseload grows.
Responsibilities
- Ensures accuracy, security, and availability of information.
- Observes each patient’s behavioral conditions throughout the counseling processes.
- Provides observation summaries for each patient.
- Debriefs patients/ families as needed and as appropriate.
- Maintains records in an ethically appropriate and timely manner using practice software.
- Represents the practice in a professional fashion and maintaining confidentiality appropriately.
