About The Position
The School Reorganization Board is responsible for hearing requests and providing recommendations from county patrons and/or school districts regarding changes in school district boundaries. Petitions approved by the County Reorganization Board are sent to State officials for final action. Board members serve a 3-year term, expiring on 06/30/2029, and may serve multiple terms. The application deadline is June 18, 2026.
Requirements
- Must be a county patron or represent a school district.
- Willingness to serve a 3-year term.
- Ability to attend board meetings to hear requests and provide recommendations.

- Experience with school district administration or governance.
- Understanding of local or state education policy.
- Previous experience serving on a board or committee.
