About The Position
Make a meaningful difference beyond the traditional healthcare setting every school day! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in Rochester, NY, to provide essential health support and compassionate nursing care to students throughout the 2026–2027 school year. Provide nursing care and health support to students throughout the school day, promoting their safety, well-being, and ability to participate in school activities. Monitor students’ health status, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately to medical needs or emergencies. Administer medications and treatments as ordered while maintaining accurate health records and required nursing documentation. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and healthcare providers to communicate health needs and coordinate appropriate student care.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Active New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS certification
- Recent relevant nursing experience
- NYSED fingerprint clearance required
