About The Position

HealthPRO Pediatrics has an immediate need for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Leonardtown, Maryland! This is an exciting full-time, non-contract opportunity with a projected start date of September 14, 2026. We are actively seeking a compassionate and qualified RN ready to support students in a school-based setting.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
• Must hold a current and active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Maryland. (CSN is not required)
• Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working in a school setting a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 nursing support to medically complex or medically fragile students
• Monitoring students with chronic or acute health conditions
• Administering medications and treatments
• Conducting health assessments and monitoring changes in condition
• Developing and following individualized care plans
• Performing complex medical procedures when required
• Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid
• Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborating with families, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Supporting student health screenings and referrals
• Promoting health and wellness within the school environment
