About The Position

This is a general posting that will serve to create a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty openings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Teaching and Learning Sciences department, School Psychology program. Courses may vary. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

Requirements

  • Masters or terminal degree (depending on the course)
  • Teaching or clinic experience

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching experience in both birth- 12 setting and higher education
  • Experience with inclusive pedagogy and commitment to inclusion
  • Experience using technology to facilitate adult learning
  • Content expertise (depending on the course—e.g. assessment, counselling etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate level courses
  • Collaborate with faculty course lead to adapt and deliver course
  • Create and maintain course Canvas container
  • Meet with students as needed
  • Respond to student communication in timely manner
  • Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate
  • Grade in a timely manner
  • Maintain regular communication with the faculty lead, particularly if a student related issue arises
