About The Position

This is a general posting to create a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty openings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. The Department of Psychology is a research-oriented department that values a collaborative and integrative approach to psychological science, fostering intellectual curiosity and innovation in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our mission is to advance psychological science by generating and sharing new knowledge through collaborative scholarship, educating and mentoring student scholars, and contributing to the public good. Requirements

  • Master's degree
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Ability to teach at the university level

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses such as Introduction to Clinical Psychology, Introduction to Cognitive Neuroscience, Introduction to Social Psychology, Introduction to Statistics, Adult Psychopathology, Child and Lifespan Development, Child Psychopathology, Clinical Psychology, Motivation and Emotion, Research Design and Inference, Research Methods, and special-topics courses.
  • Teach courses generally in-person twice a week.
  • Hold office hours.
  • Assign papers and exams as appropriate.
  • Be available to assist students with assignments.
