About The Position
EDU-AIDS is currently seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full-time opportunity with one of our partner school districts in Crestwood, Illinois. This role offers the chance to support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and support professionals.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience as a School Psychologist.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.) in Psychology or a Master's, Specialist (CAGS), or equivalent degree qualifying for School Psychologist licensure.
- Current Illinois School Psychologist license or certification.
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' educational and behavioral needs.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to develop effective student support strategies.
- Provide recommendations that promote students' academic achievement, emotional well-being, and behavioral success.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
