About The Position

Requirements

  • Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state where services are delivered
  • Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance)
  • TB Clearance
  • Eligibility to work in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
  • Prior experience working as a school psychologist
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English

Responsibilities

  • Provide DIS counseling based on students' IEPs.
  • Develop and consult on individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Create evidence-based interventions and strategies for students.
  • Offer crisis support during emergencies.
  • Train school staff on mental health, behavior management, and instructional strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
  • Prepare detailed reports for IEP meetings, evaluations, and other documentation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and plan student interventions.
