About The Position
Timberland Charter Academy, located in Muskegon, MI, is seeking a part-time School Psychologist to join their team. This position is scheduled for 16 hours per week. Requirements
- Must hold valid licensure for the state they are working in.
- Michigan: Michigan School Psychologist certificate or Preliminary School Psychologist certificate issued by the Michigan Department of Education.
Responsibilities
- Administers and interprets a wide range of individualized standardized assessment instruments in all psychological domains.
- Guides other staff in the administration of achievement tests.
- Conducts effective psychological and psycho-educational diagnostic, prescriptive evaluations of children.
- Completes interventions and instructional support to assist in developing academic skills.
- Assists in writing and consults on implementing Individual Education Plans (IEP) goals.
- Counsel students and parents, pointing them toward further resources when needed.
- Collaborates with the special education team to design and implement intervention strategies and programs.
