About The Position

Requirements

  • Do you understand that pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for all prospective MCPS employees?
  • Do you understand a pre-employment Level II ground check will be conducted on all prospective MCPS employees?
  • Do you understand that any omission, incorrect or false response to any information on your application will constitute a reason for refusal to hire or dismissal?
  • If I am NOT a current MCPS employee, and I am currently serving a court-ordered probation or currently in an open court case for any offense other than a minor traffic violation, I understand that I am not eligible for employment with MCPS until such probation is complete or my open court case is closed.
  • Are you a U.S. citizen or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States?
  • Are you 18 years of age or older?
  • Do you have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent?
  • Are you able to perform the essential functions of the position for which you are applying, with or without reasonable accommodations?
  • You have never been employed by any FRS agency in the past.
  • You have never retired from an FRS agency
  • It has been more than 6 full calendar months since retiring from an FRS Pension Plan or exiting the FRS DROP program.
  • It has been more than 6 full calendar months since receiving a FRS Investment Plan distribution or rollover.
  • Do you authorize any and all organizations including, but not limited to, current or previous employers, educational institutions, etc., their employees, representatives, and agents to provide any and all information regarding your employment or education to the Marion County Public Schools (MCPS) and its employees, representatives, and agents requesting such information?
  • Do you understand you must provide contact information for your most recent four positions of employment?
