About The Position

Parallel is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to deliver outstanding psychological services and comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to students nationwide. Join our mission-driven team dedicated to equipping families and students with the essential tools for success.

Requirements

  • An EdS degree (or equivalent) in school psychology from a NASP-approved program.
  • A valid state license or certificate as a school psychologist.
  • At least 1 year of experience practicing full time as an on-site school psychologist (excluding practicum and internship years).
  • Demonstrated expertise across all NASP domains of practice.
  • Proven experience completing comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations of students’ academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Experience providing direct psychological services (e.g., intervention, counseling) within an MTSS framework of service delivery.
  • Experience consulting effectively with educators and families.
  • Exceptional communication skills, specifically the ability to connect with children of different ages and from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Tech-savvy and experience with conducting tele-health services on virtual meeting platforms.
  • A private workspace with a reliable computer, webcam, and secure internet connection.
  • Availability during traditional school hours (8:00am-3:00pm) and days (Monday-Friday); minimum availability of 15 hours per week is ideal.

Nice To Haves

  • NCSP preferred but not required.
  • Experience practicing as a remote school psychologist is preferred but not required.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a significant plus!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, assessing students’ academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning to identify needs and inform intervention planning.
  • Provide direct and indirect psychological services (e.g., intervention, counseling, consultation) to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEP goals specifically targeting social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
  • Collaborate as a vital and integral member of multidisciplinary teams throughout the evaluation and service delivery process.
