About The Position

Our client is seeking School-based Psychologists in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves conducting full-scale student assessments, supporting and developing school-aged children, and addressing concerns regarding academic, emotional, or social challenges. The psychologist will study and implement behavioral management techniques, help students process challenges, plan goals and actions, and promote positive behaviors. Additionally, the role includes meeting with parents and teachers to discuss learning, behavioral, familial, and social challenges, providing counsel to parents on topics such as communication and substance abuse, and participating in special education by administering psychological tests.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certificate K-12 required.
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of psychological assessment procedures and interpretation of results.
