About The Position

The Rochester City School District (RCSD) is seeking School Psychologists for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team with teachers, administrators, social workers, speech/language pathologists, audiologists, and occupational and physical therapists. The School Psychologist will utilize a variety of assessment instruments to evaluate students in areas such as cognition, perception, personality, academic achievement, and social/emotional behavior, in order to determine diagnostic and prescriptive needs. A key aspect of the role is to promote the development of a positive multicultural learning environment that encourages student success. RCSD serves nearly 23,000 students across 48 PreK sites and 39 schools, with a commitment to equity, academic excellence, and student empowerment. The district offers specialized programs, bilingual education, alternative learning pathways, and college and career readiness initiatives. Requirements

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • New York State certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience with a variety of assessment instruments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
