About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring School Psychologists for K–12 school settings in Thornton, CO. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome both new and experienced clinicians who are passionate about supporting students!
Requirements
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or equivalent
- Valid Colorado CDE certification required by start date
- Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- NASP membership a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
- Support students’ behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs
- Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports
- Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations
