About The Position
Catapult Learning is seeking a PA School Certified Psychologist for part-time (21 hours per week) work with the Bucks County Non-Public schools. School psychologists work with students in grades K-12, providing psychological evaluations and determining services in accordance with Pennsylvania state law, IDEA guidelines, and Catapult Learning policy and procedures. Catapult Learning provides all testing materials and supplies.
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Certification in School Psychology
- Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.
- Must be willing to travel to schools in Philadelphia where school psychological evaluations are requested.
Responsibilities
- Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor.
- Consultation and collaboration with school staff, families, and students.
- Participate in an assessment plan meeting of students assigned for an initial or re-evaluation.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations that include, but are not limited to, assessments of intellectual, developmental, academic, social/emotional and behavioral status.
- Interpret assessment results, create written evaluation report, and submit written report to all designated contacts within the required timeframe.
- Lead assessment feedback meetings to review assessment results/findings/recommendations with all applicable parties present.
- Maintain student caseload in compliance with state timelines and other state and company guidance.
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Comply with all Catapult Learning and school district policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
