About The Position

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Cincincatti, OH for the 2026–2027 school year. TheraPeds Partners is a therapist-owned and operated team of special education providers who partner with schools to provide special education and related services to students nationwide. We understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver high-quality services while building meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment. This position serves students and includes evaluations, consultation, eligibility and diagnostic services, and student support. You'll work collaboratively with educators, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members, with support from both the school district and TheraPeds Partners.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Active or eligible for the appropriate Ohio School Psychologist credential/certification
  • Knowledge of psychoeducational assessment, counseling, consultation, and special education eligibility processes
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Understanding of IDEA, IEPs, and multidisciplinary special education practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with technology used for assessment, documentation, and communication
  • Ability to successfully complete required fingerprinting and background clearances
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with students, families, educators, administrators, and related-service professionals
  • Professionalism, discretion, and respect for student and family confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • NASP/NCSP credential preferred, but not required
  • Two or more years of school psychology experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Participating in referral, evaluation, eligibility, reevaluation, and diagnostic processes
  • Interpreting assessment results and preparing comprehensive written reports
  • Participating in the development and implementation of IEPs
  • Providing consultation to teachers, administrators, families, and other school professionals
  • Supporting students in accordance with their IEPs and identified educational needs
  • Participating in eligibility, IEP, multidisciplinary, and problem-solving team meetings
  • Providing student services and interventions within the scope of the position
  • Collaborating with special education teams, general education staff, related-service providers, and families
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Supporting compliance with IDEA, district procedures, and applicable state and federal special education requirements
