About The Position
The School Playground Recreation Aide will work at Whitney Ave Elementary School, a high-needs school. This is a permanent, part-time position for the school year, working 46 weeks per year, 195 days per year, 5 days per week. The daily work schedule is 2.5 hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The salary ranges from $18.64 to $19.42 per hour, with potential for anniversary/longevity increments. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively with elementary school-aged children.
- Knowledge of playground safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Must be able to scan and attach all required documents before the job posting deadline.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
