About The Position
The School Playground Recreation Aide will work at Orange Vale Open K-8 School. This is a permanent, part-time position within the Support Staff & Services/Non-Instructional Support category. The role involves working 10 months per year, 195 days per year, 5 days per week, for 2 hours per day. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The salary ranges from $18.64 to $19.42 per hour, with potential for anniversary/longevity increments. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Ability to supervise and manage groups of students.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a playground aide or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
