School Photographer (North Bay, ON)
About The Position
Everest Solutions and Images Ltd. is hiring energetic, creative, and friendly Seasonal Photographers to join their school photography team in North Bay and surrounding areas. This is a customer-facing role where you will interact with students, school staff, and families while capturing memorable moments. The role involves travel to different schools and communities, offering a flexible, hands-on experience outside of a traditional office setting. The company has expanded through the acquisition of Lifetouch Canada’s school photography business, combining experienced teams and trusted photography programs under the Everest brand. They are committed to quality, professionalism, and positive school partnerships, capturing confident smiles and milestone moments from kindergarten through graduation.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French (required)
- Enthusiasm and passion for capturing meaningful student portraits and creating lasting memories
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with confidence interacting with students, staff, and families in a school environment
- Willingness to work a varied seasonal schedule, primarily Monday to Friday, with early mornings and occasional extended days as needed
- Daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle and a valid Canadian driver’s license
- Ability to lift and operate provided camera equipment, up to 40 lbs.
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality student portraits while following established photography standards
- Create a positive, professional, and well-organized Picture Day experience
- Set up, operate, and pack down photography equipment at school locations
- Interact with students, school staff, and volunteers in a friendly and professional manner
- Work with team members to ensure Picture Day runs smoothly and on schedule
- Safely transport and care for photography equipment and materials
