About The Position

Everest Solutions and Images Ltd. is a leading school photography company serving schools and communities across Canada. They recently expanded through the acquisition of Lifetouch Canada’s school photography business. The company captures confident smiles and milestone moments from kindergarten through graduation day, partnering with schools and families to deliver high-quality photography, create a smooth Picture Day experience, and provide professional service from start to finish. They are looking for energetic, creative, and friendly Seasonal Photographers to join their school photography team. This is a customer-facing role involving interaction with students, school staff, and families, and requires travel to schools within the region. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and teens, variety in their workday, and being in new environments daily.

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm and passion for capturing meaningful student portraits and creating lasting memories
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with confidence interacting with students, staff, and families in a school environment
  • Willingness to work a varied seasonal schedule, primarily Monday to Friday, with early mornings and occasional extended days as needed
  • Daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle and a valid Canadian driver’s license
  • Ability to lift and operate provided camera equipment, up to 40 lbs.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age in accordance with applicable employment standards
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and able to perform work from within Canada

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality student portraits while following established photography standards
  • Create a positive, professional, and well-organized Picture Day experience
  • Set up, operate, and pack down photography equipment at school locations
  • Interact with students, school staff, and volunteers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Work with team members to ensure Picture Day runs smoothly and on schedule
  • Safely transport and care for photography equipment and materials
